When the vets receive their quilts, they instantly know that every stitch was made in honor of them and every step they took during their service, and beyond.
We have many opportunities for folks to help Quilts4Vets. Quilters and crafters can help us make quilts and other items, while donors help us keep up our work.
Although completed quilts are wonderful, we know not everyone has the time or resources to make a whole quilt. We offer a variety of options if you’re not able to create a whole quilt. Review all the options below.
Or if you’re ready to jump in, fill out the Q4V Volunteer Form.
Making a quilt for a vet is as simple as using your imagination. From the most simple to complex, all quilts are welcome. Just follow the guidelines. Or if you’re ready to jump in, fill out the Q4V Volunteer Form.
Again, there are few rules. We want your creativity to shine through. You make the quilt top and ship it to us or another volunteer who will finish the quilt. Just follow these guidelines. If you’re ready to jump in, please fill out the Q4V Volunteer Form.
The quilt finishing team is the group that pulls together the final look and texture. If you’re willing to finish a quilt (sandwich, quilt, bind), we’ll send you the quilt top. You do your thing and then send the quilt to our Veteran Liaison. If you’re ready to jump in, please fill out the Q4V Volunteer Form.
Yes, money makes the world go round, and Q4V too. Donations are used primarily used to cover shipping costs and buy supplies. Every penny counts whether one dollar or 100. Giving is easy. We accept donations through PayPal. Donations are tax deductible, as Q4V is a 501(c)3 charity organization.
